The synopsis: Cycle of Their Fathers is a rock musical based on the story told in the last four songs of Daniel Machado's pop/rock album The Ghosts of Our Childhood. These four songs tell the story of David, who after a tumultuous childhood, grows up to face his family's generations-old cycle of failed father/son relationships. Taking place between the 1940s and present day, the musical elaborates the story from the Ghosts album and features five new songs by Machado and text by Machado, Jessica Labbé and Chad Henderson.
